The AI add on at $5 per month is the most contentious part of the pricing. It adds 125 percent to the cost of a Pro subscription. The AI features are useful for breaking down goals and suggesting schedules, but they are not essential for core task management. Most users will not need the AI add on, and Todoist works perfectly well without it.
