What our scores actually mean
Every tool on GoPickStack earns one overall score out of 5. Here is exactly how that score is calculated, and what each number means.
From 1 to 5, here is what each score means
A 4.5 means the same thing whether it is a CRM or an SEO suite. We use the same definitions for every tool, every time.
Poor
Fails to do the core job. Broken, unreliable, or so frustrating that you would not recommend it to anyone.
Below average
Has basic functionality, but major gaps or friction hold it back. Only consider if nothing else exists.
Good
Gets the job done. Solid and functional, but not exceptional. A fair choice if it fits your budget and needs.
Very good
Stands out in its category. Smooth, reliable, and clearly worth the price. We recommend it with confidence.
Excellent
Best-in-class. The tool we would choose if we were spending our own money. Minimal trade-offs.

What a score looks like under the hood
